"Cover Your Assets" is all about creating sets of matching asset cards and protecting them from being stolen by your rivals. Here's how it works:

1. Asset Cards: The game features a deck of asset cards, each depicting a different valuable item (jewels, piggy banks, classic autos, etc.). There are 10 different types of assets.
2. Building Sets: Players take turns drawing and discarding cards, trying to create pairs of matching asset cards.
3. Creating Stacks: When you have a pair, you place it face-up in front of you, forming your "asset stack."
4. Covering Your Assets: Each new pair you create is placed crosswise on top of the previous set, protecting the sets beneath it. Only the top set of your stack is vulnerable to being stolen!
5. Stealing Assets: If another player has a matching asset card (or a Wild card - Gold and Silver) to the top set of your stack, they can challenge you to steal it!
6. The Challenge:
   • The challenger shows their matching card.
   • You can defend by showing a matching card from your hand.
   • The challenger can counter with another matching card.
   • This back-and-forth continues until one player can't (or chooses not to) respond.
   • Winner of the Challenge: The player who played the last card in the challenge wins the entire top set of assets (including all cards used in the challenge!).
7. Wild Cards: Gold and Silver cards act as wilds, making them valuable for both stealing and defending.
8. Ending the Round: A round ends when the draw pile is depleted and players have played all the cards in their hand.
9. Scoring: Players tally the value of the asset sets in their stack.
10. Winning: The first player to reach a total of $1,000,000 across multiple rounds wins the game!
