Shipping Policy - Bear Hugs
Welcome to Bear Hugs, where we make sure you receive the most trending goodies in the snuggest way possible! Below is our detailed shipping policy:
Processing Time:
Orders are typically processed within 1-3 business days after confirmation depending on the warehouse they ship from.
During peak seasons or special promotions, processing times may be slightly extended.
Shipping Methods (India):
We offer a variety of shipping options to cater to your needs.
- Standard Shipping: Estimated delivery within 5-6 business days
- Priority Shipping (only for Indian Warehouse products tagged with vendor Bear Hugs): Estimated delivery within 2-3 business days
- ODD Orders (i.e. orders shipped from our international warehouse, i.e. products tagged with vendor Bear Hugs HK or Bear Hugs UK): ODD Orders are delivered within 10-20 working days depending on your location.
Shipping Charges (India):
Standard Shipping: Free for orders over 1000 INR. For orders under 1000 INR, a flat rate of 149 INR applies.
Priority Shipping: Available at an additional cost of 399-499 INR based on your location and order weight.
CoD/PoD orders: CoD is applicable on orders above 499 INR that ship from our Indian warehouse only for Indian customers. CoD orders shipped from our Indian warehouse are charged at a flat 249 INR on orders above 499 INR and 399 INR on orders above 3000 INR.
Tracking Your Order:
Once your order is shipped, you'll receive a confirmation email or a WhatsApp message with a tracking number. Please ensure your number and e-mail are correct at the time of placing the order.
You can track the status of your order by clicking on the tracking link provided.
Delivery Addresses:
We deliver to both residential and business addresses.
Please double-check your shipping address during checkout. Changes cannot be made once the order is placed. If your order is misplaced or returned due to any incorrect information in your address, we cannot be held responsible for the same. If the order is returned to us because of this reason, we will reship with an additional shipping fee that will be communicated to the customer.
Similarly for CoD (Cash on Delivery) or PoD (Pay on Delivery) orders, we confirm the order with the customer before shipping either on call or text. We will only ship confirmed orders for this payment mode. The customer is liable for errors in the address or in case the order returns back to us. In such cases, we will charge an additional reship fee alongwith a delivery failure charge.
International Shipping:
We currently offer shipping to India, US, Canada, UK, EU and UAE.
International shipping charges are calculated at the time of placing the order.
We also take requests from customers in other countries if they need any product, we can arrange them on a case to case basis. Please write to us on care@bearhugs.in for placing a product request.
If you are ordering from a location outside India, please use the Razorpay Payment Gateway or PayPal on the checkout page to process your payment.

- ODD Orders (i.e. orders shipped from our international warehouse tagged with vendor Bear Hugs HK or Bear Hugs UK, or orders shipped to a Non-Indian location from any warehouse): ODD Orders are delivered within 10-20 working days depending on your location.
Customs and Duties:
International orders or ODD orders (from our international warehouse tagged with Bear Hugs HK or Bear Hugs UK in the vendor space) may be subject to customs duties and taxes on rare occasions, which are the responsibility of the customer.
Bear Hugs cannot control or predict these charges and on some occasions the waiting time the authorities might require to clear the shipment. Please check with your local customs office for more information.
KYC Documents:
For express shipments coming to India from our international warehouse, you might be required to provide KYC to the shipping company/courier, a trusted third-party service we use to deliver your international parcels.
This is a Government mandated process and in no way, your information will be used for anything else other than verifying the details of the consignee. Your information is discarded after verification of details by our logistics partner. Please note failure to furnish KYC information may result in the shipping company not delivering your parcel as per their compliance laws. In this instance, since it is a matter beyond our control, we would not be able to refund you or provide any assistance apart from coordinating with the logistics partner for information.
Order Modifications:
Changes to your order, including shipping address, cannot be made after it's been processed.
Missing or Delayed Orders:
In the rare event of a missing or delayed order, please contact our customer support. Please make note of the shipping timelines before reaching out to our customer care. We'll do our best to resolve the issue promptly.
Holiday Shipping:
During holiday seasons, shipping times may be longer due to increased demand. We recommend placing your orders in advance.
During Chinese New Year, our international warehouse is shut for a period of 15 days during which there would be no shipments being processed. Any orders placed during this time, will be processed post the resumption of services.
Returns Due to Shipping Issues:
If your order is returned to us due to an incorrect address provided by you or if you fail to collect your package from the courier, a re-shipping fee will apply.
